About this talk
Computer vision and imaging for driver visuals and services, where images are ultimately captured and rendered for human viewing, are a keystone for differentiation in consumer vehicles. Driver safety and convenience benefits from visuals overlaid with information on detected hazards and navigation information by the vision and ai system.
When parked and unattended, the same system provides visual security monitoring to capture presence of potential intruders approaching the vehicle. The same concepts are applied and extended to commercial vehicles for enhancing safety and security for enterprise fleets.
This presentation will survey some key HW/SW and algorithm components, as well as underlying design considerations applied to the visual/CV/AI systems currently being deployed.
